I will take you to the most beautiful rice terraces in Bali and walk along untouched paths where you are guaranteed not to meet any tourists. We will meet friendly locals and get a glimpse into the intricacies of rice farming. We will have a picnic on the banks of a tiny stream while tasting mouth-watering Balinese cakes. In the meantime, I will tell you lots of interesting stories about the local culture, customs and religion. Then we will visit a secluded (unknown to tourists) small waterfall, where you will have the opportunity to refresh yourself under the waterfall. Then I will surprise you with a delicious lunch at my favorite Balinese restaurant with a beautiful view, where Nyomán and his wife will cook us Nasi Goreng made of red rice. After lunch, they will serve us fruit grown in their own garden. I met the elderly couple a few years ago and we have been close friends ever since. I often spend 4-5 days in this part of Bali. I always spend hours with them and of course eat delicious food.
