There are no mandatory vaccinations, Komodo is a safe place, so you don't have to worry about diseases.
Komodo is a Muslim-populated area, so they eat mostly chicken, fish, and vegetables. But of course, you can also find cuisines from other nations, so you can eat pizza or hamburgers anywhere if you're not into Asian food. However, it's worth mentioning when placing your order if you don't like spicy food.
Komodo has hot, humid weather all year round, so when it is 28-30 °C, it feels like 35-38 °C. The temperature never drops below 23 °C. There are two seasons:
Rainy season: From the end of November to the end of March During this period, the temperature remains pleasantly high, around 25-30 °C. The sun still shines, although showers and rains are more common in the afternoon. It is important to note that Indonesia does not have a monsoon season. There are no boat trips to Komodo during this period.
Dry season: From late March to late November. Temperatures hover around 30°C, with dry, humid weather, with a temperature range of 35–38°C. Rainfall is much less frequent and shorter during this period. Boat trips are available during this period.
Komodo is very safe, crimes against tourists are not common. However, natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions) can occur in Indonesia.
Komodo is part of Indonesia, so they have Indonesian Rupiah, which cannot be exchanged in Hungary, so bring Euros or British Pounds. There are quite a few problems with dollars, not all years of banknotes are accepted. 1 HUF (Hungarian Forint) is about 45 IDR (Indonesian Rupiah).
It is worth bringing thin, light clothes that dry quickly after sweating. For those with sensitive skin, I recommend thin long-sleeved blouses and shirts due to sunburn. If you book with me, I will send you an informative PDF guide by email before your trip full of useful information on what to prepare.
Yes, you can only enter Komodo with a visa. You can get this at the airport or online in advance. The fee is approximately 35 USD. If you book with me, I will send you the link to fill out the visa before your trip, and you will also receive a PDF guide from me as a gift.
Book a personal, 60-minute consultation with me for €60. If you book with me after the consultation, I will credit the €60 fee from the price of the package/program you have chosen, so there is no additional cost to you. The credit is valid for packages or for booking a minimum of 4 programs.
Don’t decide whether to join me. Decide whether to miss out on one of the most defining experiences of your life?
